In an effort to hear more live music during the early phase of the 2020 pandemic, as well as generate interesting content while using my platform as Marketing and Development Manager at Waterfall Arts, I produced/filmed/edited these three live outdoor performances for singer-songwriters in Belfast, ME. Louise Marks is a home/amateur musician who courageously performed as our first participant. Sara Trunzo, a working musician with ties to Waldo County as well as Nashville, TN, performs her practiced “Country in Northeastern” tunes from the deck of a sailboat on a beautiful fall afternoon. And Brian Burch performs an inspiring two-song set through the grid of a chain-link fence from the Belfast Re-Entry Center (with only weeks until his release), after teaching himself the guitar during pandemic quarantine.
