Jessica and Sean | a Milwaukee Wedding

I have known the Cain family for over a decade. Ryan and Sean and I were in high school together at Loyola in Los Angeles. We did things like Urban Immersion programs and traveled to protests as budding activist high school students, eager for experiences outside of the norm, as well as those we considered socially conscious.

When the Cain family asked me to do Sean's wedding in Milwaukee, I was eager to say yes.

Ryan, with whom I've lived together in college for two years, is a good friend of mine and the best man (of course). Their uncle, Father Greg Boyle would preside over the wedding. Growing up at an all male, Jesuit high school near the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, I also grew up under the moral compass that Fr. Greg was pointing our way. Plainly speaking, I was excited to be surrounded by friends and families and mentors from my childhood and early adulthood that helped or merely watched us grow up to who were are today.

Below is the highlight video to recap an awesome wedding weekend in a new city for me, Milwaukee. It was overcast, but I made sure to eat Cheese Curds, try a Spotted Cow, and walk along their Riverwalk. The architecture of the downtown is old, and interesting. The Pabst Brewery (where the Rehearsal Dinner was held) had an historic and charming presence.

I didn't get to go to the Harley Davidson museum, nor get a haircut before the wedding, after just having spent 24 hours in Madison the day prior. And it was in Madison that I learned of the great Wisconsin band whose tune would set the mood for me to edit the film below. Fortunately, having met the sweet friend of the lead singer that weekend, I made sure to ask permission to use the song to share with you all.

Below is the five minute version of the beautiful Milwaukee wedding of Jessica Morrissey and Sean Cain. Enjoy!
